WHO WE ARE
Health Justice Action Fund is a coalition of local community health clinics, doctors, and patients across America dedicated to protecting what matters most: the health of our families and neighbors.
As the federal government seeks to reduce waste and pursue fiscally responsible government policies, we are here to make sure budget cuts don’t hurt hardworking Americans by taking away our ability to get the medical care we need.
It doesn’t matter what side of the aisle our representatives are on –– as long we can go to the doctor when we’re sick, get treated when we’re injured, and we don’t lose sleep worrying about our families.
Medicaid Matters to Me is a campaign focusing on at least six congressional districts where families and individuals depend heavily on Medicaid. These representatives in Washington, D.C. have the ability to protect the health of the voters who elected them, and we are working to make sure that happens.
Medicaid funding has been turned into a political issue, but the truth is, Americans overwhelmingly support Medicaid, with broad support across the political spectrum.
Together, we will make sure our elected representatives know what’s at stake when they support these cuts
